A course for children 2 years old~ Nencho. Classes are 4.5 hours long, held from 9:30 to 14:00 on weekdays. Lessons include both foreign instructors and support staff.

Students in this course are encouraged to learn and absorb English in a fun and natural way while spending 4.5 hours in an all-English environment. According to the theme set each month, students acquire new words that become a part of their vocabulary and are encouraged to communicate in their own words, furthering each child’s English communication skills.

In class, students will sing, play games, and exercise, while also learning the importance of teamwork and respecting classmates as well as class rules. Activities will touch on Japanese tradition and culture, while also incorporating international culture and customs. Through various activities, we aim to cultivate an international outlook in our students, as well as encourage them to be positive and independent. Our group activities also help to develop compassionate children that know how to cooperate with others.

  • Due to our status as a Ninkagai childcare service, our courses are eligible for government aid
  • Our courses encourage students to learn English in a fun and natural way!
  • Recommended for parents that are considering international preschool or elementary school for their children
  • Parents and students that do not speak Japanese are also welcome!

Focus Week

Our schools will designate certain weeks to be Focus Weeks, in which students will focus on a special activity or theme. Examples of our Focus Weeks include Easter and Halloween events, hygienic events such as Dental and Flu Prevention, Christmas performances, and more.

Students' Choice

Student’s Choice lessons are developed by our teachers based on our students interests and passions, encouraging them to try the things they’ve always wanted to. We strive to give our students a voice and encourage their interests through our student centered lesson plans.

For children that are under three years old, or parents that feel that it may be too early to be separated from their children, we offer English Time class for children from 0 years old at Knock Knock English as a preparation class for our preschool program.

Children in our English Time class will be encouraged to play and have fun English while with their guardians, and expand their interests towards English.

Additionally, English Time has a Knock Knock Preschool admissions system in place.
